13th September 2018, National Convention Center of Viet Nam (NCC)
Viet Nam is one of the fastest-growing economies worldwide with an expected GDP growth rate of 7.1% in 2018 and 6.8% in 2019, according to the Asian Development Bank. With increased integration via new free trade agreements and policy reforms, an educated workforce and big consumer base, the country is endowed with ideal conditions to become an economic hub of Southeast Asia.
Against this background, the Viet Nam Business Summit 2018 themed “Viet Nam - We Mean Business: Connect and Innovate” will engage top decision makers from Vietnamese government, local prominent businesses with global companies and business community in an open dialogue. Prime Minister of Viet Nam H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc and President of World Economic Forum Hon. Børge Brende will address the Summit, together with other VIP speakers. Therefore, this will be the high-level conference with focus on immense potentials of Viet Nam, which provide distinctive views for participants of the World Economic Forum on ASEAN.
The discussion will concentrate on the country’s evolving role in the global and regional value chains and explore areas of opportunity for Viet Nam and the rest of the world to jointly establish new partnerships and create innovative ideas. The Summit will also present the latest research about Viet Nam’s economy in the context of ASEAN and Industrial Revolution 4.0. In particular, real stories and experiences of businesses who have found success in Viet Nam are also expected.
Organized by Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the event will provide the high-profile business networking platform for leading Vietnamese and foreign companies looking for partnership to do business in Viet Nam.
